New Color Palette in Collaboration with Ilse Crawford

To celebrate Hans J. Wegner’s more than 70-year collaboration with Carl Hansen & amp; Søn, the Danish label has teamed up with renowned London-based designer Ilse Crawford to create a new color palette for the first five chairs Wegner designed for Carl Hansen & amp; Søn in 1950. The result is a multifaceted reinterpretation of Wegner’s CH22, CH 23, CH24, CH25, and CH26 chairs, whose timelessness is further emphasized by the new, rich colors. Evoking the rugged beauty of the Nordic landscape, each color features a slightly translucent finish that allows the grain of the oak wood to show through.
