Knot XL by Ragnheidur Sigursdottir for Design House Stockholm is a whimsical design that draws inspiration from knot-making and knitting, exploring sculptural forms rather than conventional patterns. The original Knot cushion was created in part as an attempt to make legs for a teddy bear instead of crocheting them, and it turned into a cozy work of art. The XL version is even more than that: a new seat that adapts to anyone, and a perfect way to sit at eye level with very young children. You can find it at Knot XL , sit on the cushion, relax on it, and Knot XL break down hierarchies while chatting. The cushion replaces or complements any sofa or lounge chair; it’s a relaxing piece of furniture at home, in a lively office, and in any informal public space. And when it’s not in use, the cushion can serve as a decorative accent in the room.
