Bistro Folding Garden Table

The Bistro Fermob ’s folding table was designed in 1889, along with the other foldable pieces in the Bistro collection as early as 1889. Authentic, harmonious, and available in natural colors, the round Bistro Fermob folding table—available in natural colors—was and remains an ideal companion on the patio, in the meadow, or even indoors.

Bistro Collection

As early as the end of the 1 9. th century, the Bistro furniture was in high demand among café owners and lemonade vendors throughout France and quickly gained popularity. Simple yet sturdy and classic in design, the Bistro folding table has everything it needs to work well outdoors. The table from Fermob , as well as the available chairs, can be quickly folded up, brought indoors, and stored to save space. In 1 9. -century France, this ability to quickly clear away the furniture had the advantage of allowing café owners to avoid paying taxes on a permanent outdoor seating area.

A Classic Table for Today

Even today, the spirit of the Bistro collection has lost none of its charm. With “ Fermob ,” the leading French manufacturer of outdoor furniture has Bistro furniture and reimagined it. Today, the round folding table appears at least as ingenious and attractive as it did when it was first designed—making it a classic table for the modern era. The round Bistro folding table is also available in other sizes. Each size can be delivered in any of the available Bistro colors. The Bistro table is also available in a rectangular version.
