Flexible Floor Lamp

The Magneto floor lamp is a minimalist yet technically sophisticated design that can be flexibly adjusted to meet a variety of lighting needs. The design of this lamp, created by Giulio Iacchetti in 2001, is as simple as it is ingenious: a magnet allows the height, angle, and direction of the light fixture to be individually adjusted. To do this, the rod with the LED light source can be slid continuously to the desired position—all held in place by an invisible magnetic force.

Adjustable Light

The compact LED light fixture, the “ Foscarini ” Magneto , casts a precise and intense beam of light when pointed downward—ideal for reading or working, for example. When the light head is turned upward, it creates a room-filling, indirect light. This allows for a variety of lighting needs to be met. With just a single hand movement, the light intensity can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
