Chop Chair

Outdoor Chair – Clean Lines for the Outdoors with the Chop Chair by Hem

Familiar yet surprisingly distinctive: The Chop Chair by Hem reinterprets the classic slatted chair with a minimalist form and subtle curves. Designed by Philippe Malouin, it features a deliberately simple design for both private and public outdoor spaces. Malouin also drew inspiration from his work in the art world and from hand-guided industrial manufacturing techniques that place the material itself at the center.

The Chop collection is cut, bent, and welded from sturdy stainless steel. The chair is weighted to withstand wind, yet remains light enough to be moved and stacked. Up to six chairs can be stacked on top of one another to save space. With a width of 45 cm, a depth of 50 cm, and a height of 79 cm, Chop features balanced proportions; the seat height is 45 cm.

Choose from sandblasted or color-powder-coated finishes. The Chop chair thus combines durable outdoor performance with a clean, sculptural aesthetic for patios, gardens, and restaurants.
