Zig Zag Shelf

Hem 's Zig Zag Shelf – Organization with a Unique Rhythm

Graphic clarity and a surprisingly simple design make the Zig Zag Shelving Unit from Hem an expressive piece of storage furniture. The design by Studio deFORM thrives on its grid-like structure, which visually organizes books, lamps, and favorite objects while creating a striking presence in the room.

Innovative tool-free folding mechanism

Its unique feature becomes apparent right from the start of assembly: a hidden folding hinge allows the flat-packed shelf to be pulled apart like an accordion and shaped into form. No tools are required. Thus, Zig Zag combines a well-thought-out design with straightforward handling. Depending on the version, the shelf is available in oak, walnut, or black-lacquered ash, among other finishes. Different configurations also offer versatile applications, ranging from a spacious bookshelf to low storage units. Manufactured in Poland, the Zig Zag shelf combines Hem functional organization with a distinctive, architectural presence.
