Bowl with a droplet-patterned surface

In 1964, Oiva Toikka created a legend with his Kastehelmi series. Thanks to Iittala , these design classics are now being brought back to life. The bowls from the Kastehelmi Iittala series feature—like all Kastehelmi Oiva Toikka designs, feature the characteristic droplet pattern on their surface. These droplets beautifully highlight the vibrant, reflective beauty of the glass. Thanks to the embossed pattern, the Kastehelmi bowls feel great to the touch and also look fantastic. In the 1960s, Oiva Toikka sought a way to conceal the seams in pressed glass. This led him to the idea of placing small glass droplets on the seams. His experiment evolved into a completely new design, which has now been reissued by Iittala . The Kastehelmi bowls enhance any interior at any time and for any occasion.
