Glass plates with a droplet pattern
Since 1964, the Kastehelmi Oiva Toikka series has stood for outstanding Scandinavian design. Thanks to Iittala , the Kastehelmi plates are now available again. Legendary design now enhances every meal: The Kastehelmi Iittala ’s plates, like all Kastehelmi Oiva Toikka’s designs, feature the characteristic droplet pattern on the outside. These droplets beautifully highlight the vibrant, reflective beauty of the glass. Thanks to the embossed pattern, the Kastehelmi design plates feel great to the touch and also look fantastic. In the 1960s, Oiva Toikka sought a way to conceal the seams in pressed glass. That’s when he came up with the idea of placing small glass droplets on the seams. His experiment evolved into a completely new design, which has now been reissued by Iittala . The Kastehelmi plates are a wonderful addition to your home decor at any time and for any occasion.
