The " Tools " series was designed in 1998 by Björn Dahlström for the Finnish manufacturer Iittala . " Tools " is a line of pots and pans that serves a dual purpose: not only are they high-quality cookware, but thanks to their attractive design and oversized, sturdy handles, they’re also perfect for bringing your culinary creations to the table—something your guests will undoubtedly appreciate. Designer Björn Dahlström collaborated with world-renowned chefs and materials experts to create these elegant, highly functional pieces, whose sophisticated details and first-class construction leave nothing to be desired in the kitchen. The “ Tools ” pots and pans are generously sized. They are just as suitable for large dinner parties as they are for everyday use. The pots feature measurement scales and a multi-layered compound base that distributes and retains heat evenly. The oven pan, on the other hand, is a masterpiece of functional, attractive design. Depending on the model, the pots offered here have capacities of 2, 3, 5, and 8 liters; the saucepan with lid has a capacity of 2 or 3 liters; and the sauté pan has a capacity of 2.5 liters. The Iittala Tools cookware is suitable for all types of stoves, including gas and induction stoves.
