Panthella 160 Portable Rechargeable LED Table Lamp

The Iconic Panthella with Technical Improvements

The Panthella lamp was designed in 1971 by Danish designer Verner Panton and has been an iconic example of modern Scandinavian design ever since. Panton was known for his creative approach to organic forms and his visionary use of color and light. The Panthella embodies his vision that both the shade and the base should serve as reflectors to distribute light evenly throughout the room. The opaque shades direct the light downward, creating a warm, cozy atmosphere thanks to their white-painted interior. The opal shades, on the other hand, provide soft, even illumination and a subtle ambiance thanks to their translucency and the reflection of the downward-directed light inside.
The lamp’s distinctive, mushroom-like shape and soft lines make it a timeless design classic that has lost none of its relevance to this day. With the new V3 version, Louis Poulsen combines the design history and functionality of this iconic lamp with the requirements of modern, portable lighting. The Panthella 160 Portable Rechargeable LED Table Lamp from Louis Poulsen , designed by Verner Panton, is now available in the updated V 3. It combines classic design with modern technical improvements that make it even more attractive and durable. The Panthella 160 Portable V3 is an aesthetic and technical evolution that impresses with improved usability, longer battery life, and a wider selection of colors.
