Lucano 2 Step Step stool

2-Step Stool Ladder

The " Lucano 2 Step " stool by Metaphys was created in the search for a contemporary design for a well-known object. Thanks to its new design, Lucano harmonizes perfectly with contemporary interiors and blends unobtrusively into modern designs. This is possible because the stool itself takes a back seat and is reduced to the essentials. Metaphys views the stool as a kind of tool. Accordingly, it should be unobtrusive. The forms of Lucano 2 Step are dominated by triangular lines. Their dimensions have also been kept to a minimum, giving the stool a particularly slim and precise appearance while conveying only the bare minimum of visual information. As a result, Lucano 2 Step can be used just as easily in the sterile environment of a bathroom as in the lively setting of a library or a child’s room. It never appears out of place or disruptive. If needed, the Lucano 2 Step stool can easily serve as a dressing aid or a place to set down small items. Additionally, the stool is easy to store due to its compact size. For its innovative design, the Lucano 2 Step stool was honored with the Good Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award.
