Inspired by an Old Radio

The idea for the shape of the Amp table lamp came about when designer Simon Legald was restoring an old radio from the 1960s at home. While searching for a replacement part for the radio, he noticed the glow of the tube amplifier. The simple, oval shape and the lampshade reflect this—as does the name Amp , the English term for a tube amplifier. The proportions of the Amp Normann Copenhagen ’s lamps are carefully crafted. The Amp wall lamp pairs beautifully with the pendant lamp or table lamp from the Amp Normann Copenhagen lighting collection. The fabric cord is 2 meters long. The light is available in various versions.
