Hyg Bar Stool

Bar stool with organic curves

The Hyg bar stool from Normann Copenhagen stands out with its soft lines and tall frame, making it ideal for the counter in your own kitchen or a bar. The organically shaped seat cradles the body, providing inviting comfort while seated. For this series of seating, designer Simon Legald drew inspiration from the Danish concept of hygge. & “People gathering together, having deep conversations, and eating together—that, to me, is the epitome of hygge. It therefore made sense that the Hyg series would also provide a setting for this kind of experience.” Simon Legald

Made of steel or oak and polypropylene

The bar stool consists of a four-legged base made of powder-coated steel or oak and a seat shell made of polypropylene. Both parts are finished in the same color, giving the stool a particularly calm and uniform appearance. Available in various colors and heights, the bar stool blends seamlessly into a variety of settings, both public and private spaces.
