Atollo Table Lamp

Iconic Table Lamp of Italian Design

Vico Magistretti’s Atollo is more than just a lamp. Atollo is an icon, a legend, and one of the most recognizable symbols of Italian design of the 20. century. Since 1989, the Italian company Oluce has been manufacturing Atollo in various sizes and versions. Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, the small table lamp received the coveted Compasso d’Oro award just two years later. Subsequently, Atollo was included in numerous permanent collections at the world’s leading design museums, where it can still be found today.

Design Based on Geometric Shapes

The combination of various geometric shapes gives Atollo its characteristic appearance and makes it unmistakable. The lamp’s cylindrical body rests on a circular aluminum base and is topped by a semicircular shade. Each table lamp is equipped with multiple light sources, transforming it into a fully illuminated sculpture. Atollo produces both direct and diffused light.
