Thonet B 10/1 Coffee Table/Side Table in Black
The B 10/1 coffee table/side table from Thonet combines clean lines with a piece of design history. It was designed by Marcel Breuer, one of the most important designers of the modern era. The black version blends seamlessly into contemporary interiors while still making a statement of its own.
A table with extra storage
As an extension of the B 10, the B 10/1 offers an additional shelf for books, baskets, or decorative items. The tabletop leaves room for a cup, remote control, or lamp. This allows it to be used as a coffee table, sideboard, or side table.
The Bauhaus Style
Marcel Breuer was born in 1902 in Pécs, Hungary, and studied at the State Bauhaus, where he later headed the woodworking workshop. There, he developed groundbreaking furniture made of bent tubing. His rejection of ornate interior styles continues to shape our understanding of form and function to this day.
Versatile from the Living Room to the Office
The narrow, elongated table can easily be placed next to a sofa or armchair. Thonet sees it as an eye-catcher for living rooms, coworking spaces, and restaurants. Its linear aesthetic appeals to anyone who views form and function as a unified whole.
