Thonet B 9 Side Table 2-Piece Set: A Bauhaus Classic for Flexible Living Spaces
Thonet ’s B 9 Side Table 2-Piece Set brings a piece of design history into your living space. Designed by Marcel Breuer, it combines clean lines with practical functionality and fits just as well next to the sofa as it does in the bedroom.
Two tables, many possibilities
The two tables can be nested inside one another for space-saving storage. If you prefer an open layout, place them offset next to each other or distribute them throughout different areas. Whether as a spot for a glass, a book, or a vase of fresh flowers, they always provide the perfect place.
A Design Icon with a History
The designs for the B 9 series were created in 1925–26, when Marcel Breuer was experimenting with new ideas for furniture at the Bauhaus. At that time, the tables were used, among other places, in the Bauhaus cafeteria. Thonet continues to produce the series today in a revised form.
A company with a rich tradition
Thonet was founded in 1819 by Michael Thonet in Boppard on the Rhine and is now based in Frankenberg. The timeless design fits into almost any room, making the table a companion for many years to come.
