Pine Wood Pendant Light – Iconic Design with the 1002 Hans Pendant Light by Vaarnii
Graphic form and warm wooden light come together in the 1002 Hans pendant lamp from Vaarnii to create a distinctive design. The design, created by Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s, has been reinterpreted by Vaarnii . The concentrically arranged rings of pine veneer give the pendant lamp its striking, graphic silhouette and allow the light to shimmer gently through the wood.
The Vaarnii 1002 Hans pendant lamp is crafted from high-quality Finnish pine and pine veneer. The natural grain and warm tones of the wood are at the heart of the design. Over time, the pine wood develops a warm, honey-colored patina, allowing the light fixture to further reveal its unique character. The light fixture is manufactured in Finland.
The 1002 Hans pendant lamp from Vaarnii is available in two sizes: The standard version has a diameter of 46 cm and a height of 33 cm, while the XL version is more generously sized, with a diameter of 70 cm and a height of 50 cm. This makes the pendant light suitable both as a standalone focal point above the dining table and as striking lighting for larger living and dining areas. As part of the Hans collection from Vaarnii , it combines Scandinavian design history with natural materials and contemporary Finnish craftsmanship.
