Pine Wood Pendant Light – Scandinavian Design with the 1003 Hans Pendant Light from Vaarnii
Graphic shapes meet warm wood: The 1003 Hans Pendant Light from Vaarnii combines Scandinavian design with the natural charm of Finnish pine. The design was created by Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s. Its defining feature is the concentric strips of pine veneer, which give the light its striking, graphic silhouette.
The Vaarnii 1003 Hans pendant lamp combines a solid Finnish pine frame with fine pine veneer. The light is gently filtered through the individual layers of veneer, creating a warm, pleasant glow. At the same time, the natural grain of the wood remains visible. Over time, the pine wood changes color and develops a warm, honey-colored patina. The Hans pendant lamp is manufactured in Finland.
The 1003 Hans pendant lamp from Vaarnii is available in two sizes: The standard version measures 60 cm in diameter and 34 cm in height, while the 1003 Hans Pendant XL, with a diameter of 90 cm and a height of 45 cm, offers a particularly generous option. Whether above the dining table, in the living room, or in spacious interiors, this pendant light creates a striking accent of light. As part of the Hans collection from Vaarnii , it combines Scandinavian design history with natural materials and contemporary Finnish craftsmanship.
