1004 Hans Wall Sconce

Pine Wood Wall Sconce – Warm Light with the 1004 Hans Wall Sconce from Vaarnii

Scandinavian design and natural pine wood come together in the 1004 Hans Wall Sconce to Vaarnii to create a light fixture full of character. The design is by Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson and is part of the Hans lighting series, which draws on designs from the 1960s. The striking construction of pine wood and fine veneer gives the wall sconce its graphic silhouette while lending it a pleasantly warm appearance.

The Vaarnii 1004 Hans wall sconce is crafted from high-quality pine veneer and solid elements of Finnish pine. The light shines gently through the natural wood grain, creating a warm, atmospheric glow. Over time, the pine wood changes color and develops a characteristic, honey-colored patina. The wall sconce is manufactured in Finland, combining natural materials with Scandinavian design tradition.

Measuring 16 cm wide, 13 cm deep, and 24 cm tall, the 1004 Hans wall sconce from Vaarnii is particularly compact. It can be used individually in smaller spaces or combined with multiple fixtures to create a harmonious lighting installation. The light features an E14 socket and is ideal for hallways, living areas, or as atmospheric accent lighting. As the smallest member of the Hans collection from Vaarnii , it combines functional lighting with timeless Scandinavian design.
