Rosendahl Design – one of the largest design manufacturers in Denmark
The Danish design adventure began with a wine stopper, says Erik Rosendahl, founder of Rosendahl A/S.
In 1993, Rosendahl launched its first own design product: a wine stopper. Erik Rosendahl's philosophy is to create collections rather than individual products, so the wine stopper was soon joined by other family members. Today, the collections include design clocks, glassware and porcelain as well as wine accessories. Rosendahl has become one big family.
In this way, the Danish company discovered and built up a new market in the gift sector. Today, its designs in glass, stainless steel and plastic set the tone. The quality and practical features of its products have made them popular worldwide.
Danish designers preserve Rosendahl's pure design style
Rosendahl wants to honour Danish design traditions. That's why the company works mainly with Danish designers, preserving the quality of its products and its pure Danish design style.
Interest in its products from European and overseas markets has grown significantly in recent years. For this reason, the Danish company founded its first subsidiary, Rosendahl International A/S, with Henrik Rosendahl as export director.
In Denmark, the products are available from specialist retailers, museum shops and shops specialising in crafts and design.
