Wooden wicker chair
Avant-garde meets tradition. While most shell chairs today are made of plastic, Design House Stockholm breaks with the norm and manufactures the Wick chair from bent wood. The chair not only impresses with its natural charm, but also with its unusual and individual design.
Swedish designers Karl Malmvall and Jesper Ståhl are behind the design, which draws its inspiration from classic craftsmanship: The bowl is reminiscent of a basket and also adopts its woven structure, which is quoted in the design of the backrest.
Aesthetic and functional
The Wick chair not only meets all ergonomic requirements, it also has functional aspects: for example, the backrest of the chair can be easily hooked onto a table top. This is particularly practical when the floor needs to be cleaned.
Freely selectable: color & base frame
The Wick chair is available in different versions. Not only can you choose between natural oak, black lacquered or natural ash, different base frames are also possible so that the chair can be adapted to different areas with wood, steel or swivel legs and can therefore be used as a classic dining chair as well as in the office or conference area.
For individual comfort, a matching seat cushion in different colors is available on request.
