Chrome-Plated Pencil Sharpener in the Shape of a Beaver
The “ Kastor ” pencil sharpener from Alessi was designed by Colombian designer Rodrigo Torres, who drew inspiration for his work from nature’s woodcutter: the beaver. Instead of gnawing on tree trunks, however, this little rodent uses its sharp blade to nibble on pencils, getting them ready for the next art class. Its chrome-plated exterior gives the “ Kastor ” pencil sharpener a certain elegance that stylishly enhances any workspace. Thanks to its sturdy construction and the weight that comes with it, Kastor also makes an excellent paperweight, reliably keeping loose pieces of paper and letters in place. With its humorous design and practical features, Kastor is the perfect office accessory for your home office or workplace.
