Functional and aesthetic sideboard

The Layer sideboard from Design House Stockholm is an expressive piece of furniture that combines functionality and Scandinavian design in a special way. Created by designer Mathieu Gustafsson, it impresses with an architectural design that plays with open and closed surfaces. The sideboard is characterized by the so-called " Layer " look: several layers of wood overlap and create an exciting depth effect. This creates fine, geometric openings that also serve as handle replacements and discreetly reveal the interior. Made from MDF with high-quality oak veneer and a lacquered surface, this piece of furniture is impressively stable and has a sophisticated, natural look. The grain of the wood is deliberately emphasized and underlines the Scandinavian character of the design. With generous dimensions (e.g. approx. 180 cm wide), the sideboard offers plenty of storage space for crockery, books or everyday objects and is suitable for both living and dining areas. The design deliberately dispenses with classic handles and instead focuses on the integrated openings - a functional detail that emphasizes the clear, minimalist design language. At the same time, the sideboard looks like a sculptural object and can be placed against the wall or freely in the room. With its exciting interplay of structure, material and function, the Layer sideboard is a real eye-catcher and adds a modern, design-oriented touch to any room. With the Design House Stockholm Layer sideboard, you are opting for a high-quality piece of furniture that impressively combines aesthetics, functionality and Scandinavian design philosophy.
