Ash Wood Wall Hook
Danish designer Peter Johansen has created a wooden hook shaped like the letter J for Normann Copenhagen . The Curve wall hook has a classic shape that immediately and intuitively suggests its function. The multifaceted curve lends a special sophistication to the simple design language and a beautiful precision to the slightly oversized design. Curve It is a wall hook in its most traditional and symbolic form. It effortlessly holds multiple items, such as clothing, bags, and accessories. Drawing inspiration from classic Danish design of the 1950s, Peter Johansen has created a wall hook with a modern design. His starting point was the most basic possible shape of a hook, which he adapted and refined. The wide shape and clearly visible wood grain lend the design warmth, humor, and character. Peter Johansen explains: & “I’ve always enjoyed hanging things up. I’m fascinated by the shape of the hook and find its function interesting. Many people no longer use the small hanging loop on their jackets at all. To protect the clothing, the hook needs to be wider. The hook Curve is intended as a playful, functional item for the wall. You can hang 1, 2, 3, or 10 of them for a wide variety of purposes. & quot; The Curve coat hook is crafted from molded wood and available in a cool, Scandinavian color palette. With their clean, Nordic aesthetic, all colors enhance the—often white—walls in the hallway. Even a single hook can create a graphic accent on the wall; with several arranged in a row or in a specific pattern, the unique look is perfected.
