Bronto Egg Cups, Set of 2

{h2} Egg Cups – Striking Ceramics with the Bronto Egg Cup 2-Piece Set from Hem {/h2} Small, but anything but understated: The {b} Bronto Egg Cup 2-Piece Set {/b} from {b} Hem {/b} brings the Bronto collection’s distinctive, bold design language to the breakfast table. The series was designed by Supergroup, a collaboration between ceramic artist Ian McIntyre and illustrator John Booth. The deliberately voluminous, softly rounded contours place high demands on the ceramic manufacturing process and lend even the smallest piece in the collection a striking presence. The egg cups are made of ceramic and feature a glossy glaze. With a diameter of 7 cm and a height of 3 cm, they have compact proportions and, according to Hem , can be used not only for breakfast eggs but also as small bowls for salt or spices. The Bronto egg cups are dishwasher- and microwave-safe and come in a set of two. When combined with other tableware pieces from the Bronto collection, the distinctive design language is carried through to the set table.
