Classic bar stool by Sebastian Herkner
The 118 H von Thonet is a classic bar stool that adds subtle elegance to any bar or counter and in any restaurant. The principle of reducing a chair to as few components as possible was already introduced by Michael Thonet in the middle of the 1st 9. century. The 118 chair program by Sebastian Herkner is a further development that takes the company's heritage into consideration - and goes one step further.
Made of moulded plywood in beech
The bar chair consists of a frame of moulded plywood in beech in various colours. The seat is optionally available as a trough seat, upholstered or with wickerwork. With a seat height of 75 cm, the bar chair adapts perfectly to any ambience. The stool convinces with modern details. The legs are particularly refined: Rounded at the back, slight edges at the front ensure a certain break, which takes up the horseshoe-shaped base of the seat. The stainless steel footrest is particularly practical. The seat frame, bent from one piece, refers to the original type of Thonet chair, the 214.
