According to the designer Bent Krebs, the Skagerak Plint came about as a result of his love for cooking with aromatic herbs and wanted to have them in sight around him at the same time. Always impressive, as attractive objects are, and with a completely practical idea behind it.
Inside of ugly black plastic containers, which herbs usually peek out of, Bent Krebs designed his Plint series for Skagerak: ‘The herbs line up cutely next to each other on the table and are even an ornament.’
Plint became popular very quickly. Thanks to the great creativity of customers, Plint is now more than just a herb container. The versatile ceramic bowls can be used for different purposes, like serving snacks, storing office items, as a candleholder or for putting out dips.
Skagerak’s Plint 3 is made of white ceramic, while you can choose between teak, oak and Wenge for the wooden bracket. All wooden materials are of course FSC-certified and come with the high quality typical for Skagerak.
