The serving platters of the Musselmalet Ribbed series by Royal Copenhagen are characterized by their filigree, cobalt blue lace pattern, which is painted by hand on the high-quality porcelain. The slightly ribbed surface additionally provides a special feel. The pattern was designed as early as 1770 and came onto the market in 1775 as the manufacturer Royal Copenhagen 's first series. To this day, the timeless design of the series continues to delight porcelain lovers all over the world. In the 1880s the pattern was revised by Arnold Krog.
The serving platters of the Musselmalet Ribbed series are available in various designs and are suitable for serving cakes, desserts or wholefood dishes. A sugar bowl and a sauce boat are also included in the series. The fine porcelain can be used both for everyday use and for special occasions.
