Project US - Witherspoon Watch

In Princeton's heart, New Jersey, more exactly in the Witherspoon Street stands the "Paul Robeson Center of Arts", which was planned and built by Michael Graves. Graves describes the building as a "milestone for Princeton, which pictures an important contribution for the cultural life of the people".

Witherspoon is also the name of the watch which was designed by Michael Graves in 2008 for Projects US. Just as well as the building, the watch is peppy in its shape and colour. The watch reminds of the massive colours of the blue building with its rust-coloured stones and the audacious view to the city centre.

The Witherspoon Watch consists of a stainless steel cover (ø 4 cm), a leather band (W 2 cm) and it is available with a dial in four different colours.

Michael Graves was born in 1934 in Indianapolis. He finished his architecture studies in 1959 at the Harvard University and became already four years later professor at the Princeton University. Designer Michael Graves
