Cartoons create a special room division that is baroque and minimalist at the same time. The curved wave forms do strongly remind of the wavy designs from Alvar Aalto.

Luigi Baroli designed the Paravent Cartoons for Baleri Italia (once Cerruti Baleri) in the year 1992. In the year 1994, the room divider was honoured with the Compasso d’Oro award and is placed in the constant collection of the Museum of Modern Art since 2001.

The self-carrying structure of the dividing wall consists of waved cardboard that is won out of pure cell tissue and – free from ecologically harmful remnants – fully reusable. The upper and lower borders are made out of black matt technical polymer. The end elements that reinforce the object consist of satined Alu-die-casting.

Besides the here offered colours, Cartoons is also available in further colours.
