Typography numbers posters
The posters by Holstee show the numbers 1, 3, 7 and 8 as decorative large numbers in bright colors, sending profound message.
Poster 1: "We are all one or all none."
This quote of the soap manufacturer Dr. Bronner is at the bottom of the One poster by Holstee. It means that we are more dependent on each other than we realize. Together we achieve more than alone.
The poster with the One encourages a team-feeling and it emphasizes the unity of a group when it is hung in the office or at home.
Poster 3: "I'll try anything once, twice if I like it, three times to make sure."
The Three poster of Holstee adorns a quote by Mae West, an American actress from the 30s, known for her cheerful personality and cheeky sayings. The phrase encourages to venture into new things and to be always open for the unknown.
Poster 7: "In every deliberation, we must consider the impact on the seventh generation"
This sentence from the Constitution of the Iroquois Nations, being current in our society as well. The Seven poster by Holstee with the large Seven on it wanted to draw the attention of upcoming generations and make us become aware of our actions.
Poster 8: "Fall down seven times, get up eight."
The Eight poster gives us courage to do it again, if we can actually no longer. The poster reminds us to keep our goal always in mind and to get back up every time, both in the office or at home.
Colour & size
All the number posters by Holstee shine in a bold Pantone colour, which is broken by the silhouette of the respective number. The posters with the American size 18 x 24 can be hung with magnetic image strips in the office, children’s or living room, for example.
