Seating furniture with a Danish hygge feeling
The typical Danish hygge feeling includes safety, warmth and comfort - the starting parameters for this Hyg series of seating furniture from Norman Copenhagen.
Designer Simon Legald has been inspired by the now internationally known happiness feeling of the Danes and created objects that are characterized by soft silhouettes and inviting shapes.
He explains, "People sitting together, having intense conversations with each other and eating together - that's the epitome of hygge for me. It was therefore obvious that the Hyg series also provides a setting for this kind of experience. The feeling of hygge is not only linked to the visual experience of the design - it encompasses the entire sensory spectrum. Intensive work has been done to design the chair in such a way that it offers rest and support to the body - so that it is simply comfortable to sit in it."
Bar chairs, armchairs and sofas
In addition to bar chairs and sofas, the series includes a swivel lounge chair and an upholstered dining chair. Thanks to the organic curves and the comfortable seat shells, all pieces of furniture can be used equally well in private spaces as in offices or restaurants.
