The Glider wooden plane by Contexture Design reminds of children’s days bit it especially is a filigree collectors‘piece. The Glider wooden plane can be mounted in few steps. The finished plane looks good in the air, but because of its sensible material it mainly is a high quality design object.

The Glider is manufactured by Contexture Design out of different veneered woods. The sections mainly consist of maple or walnut. On the interior side as well as the rear wing there are additional different paper decors. Because of these filigree wooden pieces, Glider should be assembled carefully.

The designers from Contexture Design manufacture every Glider plane by hand and exceptionally out of recycled materials. The paper-thin wood is directly cut in Canada per laser out of veneer rests and afterwards self-printed paper is stick on it by hand.

Glider is delivered in a paper envelop with printed product and construction information which have been designed for Glider. The design of the plane and its package was inspired by classic models of the 1950es.
