Lean is an elegant and exclusive chair by Skagerak, which is only made of two parts and when it is folded together, it doesn't need a lot of space.

„We want a classic design in a pretty quality achievement and reanimate high quality design.“ That is one of the main ideas of Skagerak Denmark, which caused attractive remakes of the beer crate, the stool and the ladder.

The last sprout is the classic beach chair, which is now available in an exclusive, modern, rakish version. Lean enlargens thanks to the design, the quality and the quality achievement the boundaries of the use. It is ideal for the concept, the tour, on the fire and as tv chair of the children in the living room.

Lean was designed by the Danish designer Hans Sandgren Jakobsen, who is known for his awarded Gallery chair by Fredericia Furniture.

The Lean beach chair is made of only two parts and loads folded almost no space. It can be carried around very easy and enfolded and folded together very easyly. A small handle under the seat can be used as locking, when the chair is in use, and as practical handle while transporting.

Lean was awarded 1 place „Formland Design Award - Spring 2008“ at the use art fair in Herning.

In the statement of the jury iot says that „Lean appears with its attractive design very esthetical. It is classic and modern at the same time and weights almost nothing. If it is not in use, it can hang on the wall just like a sculpture.“

Lean is made of shape pressed birch inlay with a over inlay made of black melamin or walnut.
