The Suomi Vase by Rosenthal is inspired by the natural forms of the Finnish design. Timo Sarpaneva created a vase that means harmony, with the Siomi Vase.
The Suomi service by Timo Sarpaneva is part of the world-wide most successful porcelain forms. The vase out of the collection fulfills the whole image: The organic form between spheres and squares has been inspired by the shape of river stones that have been smoothened by the water. A shape that flatters the hand and the eye, both equally.
As well as all the Rosenthal vases, of course also the Suomi Vase is made out of high quality porcelain. Its design qualities are obvious: the Suomi series has been included in the permanent collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou.
