The designer Britt Bonnesen designed a geometric cushion which plays with forms, colours and materials on a modern and elegant way. Brick combines fabrics in different structures and nuances and it brings colourful effects in every furnishing.
Britt Bonnesen was inspired by geometric forms and the patchwork technique when she designed Brick. The fabrics used for the front of the cushion are cut to square and geometric forms, making up an irregular, graphic pattern together. The fabric pieces on the front consist of different materials. The back of the cushion is made of a different kind of textile.
The clear and vivid colours came out of the fashion branch – a usual inspiration source of Britt Bonnesen. Each piece of fabric has its own special nuance, harmonically fitting in the basic tone of the cushion. This offers simple elegance to the pillow.
Britt Bonnesen explained: ”I wanted to design a cushion to lean back comfortably on it, looking playful at the same time. I like the difference of form, colour and structure of the textile. This offers the dynamic appearance to the cushion and reminds of patchwork, puzzles and games, such as Tetris.”
Brick is available in nine different colours. There is a suitable piece for every furnishing. A cushion, decorated alone, is a chic eye-catcher on the sofa or the bed. Set different accents with cushions in different colour combinations or create a comfortable corner on the floor with several cushions.
