A tribute for nature: The Marimekko Tuuli pillowcase makes you feel the wind through the tree’s branches.
The trees from Paris inspired Maija Irola when she created her Tuuli pattern: The Finnish designer lived in the French capital in the late 60s, where she liked to walk around a lot. One day Isola was sitting in the park and saw how the trees moved in the wind and how they seemed to bow down before her. Tuuli was born that day. It means “wind” in English.
The pattern on the Tuuli pillowcases by Marimekko is harmonically balanced and natural. The reduction to the colours black and white offers the textile quietness without being overloaded.
The Tuuli pillowcase is soft, cosy and easily cleaned since it is made of 100% cotton. The Tuuli pillowcase by Marimekko can be washed at 60°C.
