The Italian lamp manufacturer Artemide has been producing the Tolomeo lamp by designers Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi since 1987. With Tolomeo, the design duo succeeded in creating a trend-setting and extremely successful design of a desk lamp that can be found on the tables of countless architectural offices and agencies.

With the Tolomeo Terra floor lamp, the successful design of the classic desk lamp by Artemide to a floor lamp. The highly movable frame enables direct light to be easily aligned. The characteristic features of the Tolomeo family - simple aluminum look and the hat-shaped shade - can also be found in the floor lamp version.

Artemide produces the lamp head of the Tolomeo Terra from matt anodized aluminum and the swivel arm as well as the spring mechanism from shiny aluminum.
