Table lamp with petals
A little bit it feels like the second spring with this sight. The small petals curve towards the luminous sphere of the Blom as if to form a radiant sun. The base of the table lamp from FontanaArte almost looks like a flower stem.
Blom is the name of the small sun worshipper. The lamp was designed by Andreas Engesvik for FontanaArte . Through the movement of the petals, the light output of the table lamp is adjustable and can be directed in all directions. The shade itself consists of opal white polyethylene, which diffuses the light gently and diffusely.
Direct and indirect light
Even in the direct field of vision, the light of the Blom pleasant, as the satin diffuser makes it absolutely glare-free. Thus, the unusual table lamp can be used, for example, as a reading lamp, while it emits indirect light when the "leaves" are turned differently, which wonderfully highlights individual details or the corners of a room.
The leaves of the Blom are made of polycarbonate and the base of aluminium. Blom is available in different colours. For the design Andreas Engesvik and FontanaArte were awarded with the Red Dot Award.
