Iconic fashion design from Great Britain
Margaret Howell is a famous British fashion designer. After studying design at Goldsmith College in London in 1969, she started making jewelry and small accessories until she discovered her passion for fashion.
This led to a partnership with Joseph Ettedgui and the opening of a men's store in South Molton Street, London, 197 6. The first independent Margaret Howell store opened in 1980 in St. Christopher's Place in London. In addition to selling Howell's menswear and womenswear, the store was used for design and art exhibitions. Meanwhile, the British designer has stores in cities such as Tokyo, Paris, Florence and has been awarded numerous prizes and honorary titles. She also cooperates from time to time with renowned design manufacturers for whom Howell creates design objects reminiscent of her fashion collections.
