The Lifto lamp classic from Belux combines high functionality with timeless design. Lifto was designed in 1984 by Benjamin Thut and equipped with modern and energy-saving LED technology in the year 2010.
With its energy-saving LEDs, Lifto sets technological standards. 10 strong power LEDs illuminate the table broadly and powerfully (620 lumen) with the highest colour rendering. The tight arrangement of the LEDs avoids the appearance of more shadows; an effect that is seen with numerous LED lamps on the market.
With the integrated dip switch, Lifto can be switched on and off or dimmed from 100 to 1%. With the same switch you can continuously change the colour temperature from warm to cool light (3000-4000 Kelvin). The electronics are designed for a service life of 50,000 hours.
Nevertheless, Lifto is designed so that the LED board can be swapped out. The Lifto table lamp originated from the Belux light competition in 1984. University graduate Benjamin Thut experimented on movement with the gas pressure spring for a long time.
He was inspired by the brackets of car boot lids for this genius adjustability.
The patented use of the gas pressure spring is unique in the construction of lights and gives Lifto its large radius of action. Three hinges can be moved easily with one hand, yet the light, even at large radiuses, stays unchanged in the desired position. There are many uses for Lifto, both in the office and at home. The smaller version, Liftolino, is suitable for small tables or as a bed reading light. A variety of adaptations is available for various attachments to the table and wall. Lifto is also available in different colour combinations.
