The Table Lamp PH 2/1 is part of the 2/1- family by Louis Poulsen, that already consists of a chandelier, a pendant lamp and a wall lamp. The lamp's design was coined by Poul Henningsen whose initials make up the name of the lamp.
The small table lamp PH 2/1 was designed based on the principle that a reflective three-shade system directs most of the light downwards. The three shades are manufactured by Louis Poulsen out of mouth blown opal glass. The shades are glossy on the inside and sandblasted on the outside, creating a soft and diffuse light.
Thanks to its small size, the PH 2/1 provides excellent placement opportunities. A pleasant atmosphere is thus created with small light points emphasising the dimensions of the room.
Louis Poulsen equipped the PH 2/1 table lamp with a bright halogen lightbulb with a G9 socket. The top plate, base and stem are made of high-gloss-chromed brass, and elegantly completed by the white opal glass lamp shade. The cable is made out of black plastic and possesses a cable switch.
