Table lamp with reflective three-shade system
The table lamp PH 2/1 is part of the 2/1 family by Louis Poulsen, which already includes a chandelier, a pendant and a wall lamp. The lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen, whose initials form the name of the lamp.
The small table lamp PH 2/1 was designed based on the principle of a reflecting three-shade system that directs most of the light downwards. The three umbrellas are made by Louis Poulsen from mouth-blown opalescent three-layered glass. The shades are shiny on the inside and sandblasted on the outside, resulting in a soft and diffuse light distribution. The base is optionally available in drawn aluminium in high-gloss chrome or black metallized. The textile cable is black.
Due to its small size, the PH 2/1 table lamp offers excellent placement possibilities in rooms where small light points are to be created to create a pleasant atmosphere and emphasize the dimensions of the room.
