Surprisingly timeless: The Lightworm Table Lamp was designed by Walter Schnepel in 2002. The senior manager of Tecnolumen equipped the lamp head with a simple fitting – this way, the light bulb is the centre of attention.
The base of the Lightworm, however, is more complex and offers functionality: The base of the Lightworm is made up of many small joints that wind their way to the top, resembling the eponymous worm. Thanks to the joints, the table lamp by Tecnolumen is also adjustable in height and width. The base of the worm lamp is made of metal and it harmoniously suits the transparent cable.
The switch of the Tecnolumen Lightworm is located on the plastic fitting, so that it remains subtle in the background. The Lightworm is available in a nickel-plated version with a transparent cable and in a black edition with a black cable.
