The vertical Pipe Hurricane tea light holder unifies a unique mix of Scandinavian simplicity and the raw strength of Vikings. It is made out of cast iron and heat resistant glass by Menu, protecting the fire from wind and weather.
The Pipe Candlestick is a wide concept that does not limit creative souls. The Pipe design is a remake of a centuries-old invention of the Vikings. Pipe can be hammered inside of any kind of wood where it ensures light. Decorative in a tree in the garden, stylish in a piece of wood on the kitchen table, romantic at a picnic on the beach and extremely cool as a décor in the living room.
The equally simple as expressive design was coined by the Danish designer Pernille Vea. She won many international awards and has been honored with the “Most Wanted Designer” by the Magazine Wallpaper.
“I am very fascinated by the simplicity and rawness of the Vikings. The Pipe Hurricane tea light holders have an exact functional simplicity, however being playful so that it demands fantasy to create your own personal décor”, says the designer Pernille Vea. “I have an ancient wooden chair with two rudely placed Pipe tea light holders at home. This creates a really unique and strong expression. Really captivating and surprising.”
