Lievore Altherr Molina is a design-trio, which opened doors with totally different cultural backgrounds in Barcelona being internationally famous since 1991.
Let’s start in the beginning: Alberto Lievore comes from Buenos Aires in Argentina and he is architect. He moved in the 1970ies to Catalonia, where he later also became internationally famous as a chair designer (e.g. Rothko Chair). Jeanette Altherr comes from Germany, but moved while her industry and product design studies from Darmstadt to Barcelona, the hometown of Manuel Molina. He studied interior design.
In 1991 they founded their studio, which is really successful in furniture design. All three partners are working on every project together. They think that the different ages are really good for their work.
