String Shelf - A Mid-Century Design Classic
String Furniture is known for the design classic that everyone knows. The shelf system by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, which was first presented to the world public in 1949, was especially popular in the 50s and 60s.
Only a few years later, in 1955, the design won the Triennale Gold Medal in Milan and was finally included in the collection of the Swedish National Museum in 1979 - as part of national design history.
Nisse and Kajsa Strinning's timeless design was finally rediscovered and further developed in the 2000s. This was followed by:
2005 the practical and compact String Pocket wall shelf
2015 Works ™ with functional office furniture
2019 Outdoor collection with galvanized shelving modules for outdoor use.
