The Forest Gump - Salt-, Pepper and Toothpick Ménage is part of a new product family, which Alessi designed in cooperation work with the National Palace Museum in Taiwan. This cooperation work fructified with the "Chin Family" already in 2007.
The designer by Forest Gump is Stefano Giovannoni. For the product, he was inspired by the unique pieces in the Taiwan Museum and started with the exploration of the Chinese art. His own interpretation of the classic works can be discovered in the, for Stefano Giovannoni typical, playful style.
Every of the objects is not only an optical highlight, but also a known daily tool. The Forest Gump - Salt-, Pepper and Toothpick Ménage fulfills all demands and offers the specific seasoning of the prepared or to preparing food. To that Forest Gump offers also the possibility, to use the small wild boar as toothpick holder, through which the figure turns into a hedgehog.
Forest Gump is designed very lovely and practical. The figures seem to come out of a fairy-tale and give every dining table and every kitchen a magical charm and make the seasoning to a fantastic act.
Stefano Giovannoni, born in La Spezia in 1954, graduated in Architecture in Florence in 1978, he lives and works in Milan. Designer Stefano Giovannoni
