Patterned cotton cushion cover
The Alku cushion cover from Marimekko features the pattern designed by Maija Louekari Alku -pattern designed by Maija Louekari and has a zipper on one side. This means that the cotton cover can be washed if necessary.
The bean-like shapes in the new Marimekko pattern represent seeds that grow into beautiful, vibrant flowers. They symbolize a new beginning, as spring is, hence the name Alku - "beginning" in Finnish. The pattern is printed in Helsinki.
As the cushion covers from Marimekko are sewn across the entire width of the fabric, their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.
