Patterned cotton pillowcase
The Alku pillowcase from Marimekko is decorated with the pattern designed by Maija Louekari. Alku -pattern and has a zipper on one side. Thus, the cotton cover can be washed if necessary.
The bean-like shapes in the new Marimekko -pattern represent seeds that grow into magnificent, strong flowers. They symbolize a new beginning, as spring is, hence the name Alku - in Finnish "beginning". The pattern is printed in Helsinki.
Since the pillowcases are sewn from Marimekko across the entire width of the fabric, their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.
